Credit insurance (WKV = Commercial credit insurance), (WKV-M = commercial credit
insurance-M), (AKV = overseas credit insurance), (IKV = domestic credit insurance)
In the case of credit insurance, the forms, commercial credit insurance, where claims from
supplies and services are insured, and investment credit insurance are differentiated. They insure
the economic risk. Political risk can be insured through the export credit guarantee (Hermes
guarantee or Hermes coverage) of the Federal Republic of Germany. Please refer to the chapter “
